On x.com or in the X app, use Share › Copy link on the post. Links that still start with twitter.com work just as well.

Whatever the post itself offers, up to 1080p. X does not serve 4K video, so 1080p is the ceiling for any downloader. Older or phone-recorded posts may top out at 720p or lower.
Yes. SocialSaver accepts both x.com and twitter.com post links. Use the main address rather than a mobile.twitter.com link.
Yes. Open SocialSaver in Safari or Chrome on your phone, paste the link and download. On iPhone the MP4 goes to Files › Downloads, where Share › Save Video adds it to Photos.
