How to Use the Facebook Reel Downloader

Open the Reel in the Facebook app

Play the Reel you want to keep in the Facebook app on Android or iPhone. It has to be public: Reels shared only with friends cannot be fetched.

Tap Share, then Copy link

Tap the Share arrow on the right-hand side of the Reel and choose Copy link. The copied link usually looks like facebook.com/reel/ followed by a long number.

Paste, fetch and download

Paste the link into the box above and tap Fetch. When the preview appears, tap Download Best Quality. The MP4 saves to Downloads on Android, or to Files › Downloads on iPhone.

Usually because the Reel isn’t fully public. Facebook shows some Reels only to friends or to logged-in users, and SocialSaver can only fetch what anyone can view without logging in. Deleted Reels, and links copied from a profile page instead of the Reel itself, also fail.
On Android, the MP4 lands in your Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery. On iPhone, Safari saves it to Files › Downloads; open it and tap Share › Save Video to move it into Photos.
Yes. Open the Reel on facebook.com, copy the address from the browser bar and paste it here. It is the same facebook.com/reel/ link the mobile app copies, and the MP4 saves to your Downloads folder.
